Direct Care Conferences in 2026: Every Event Still to Come

If you have been meaning to get to a direct care event this year, there is still time, though not a great deal of it. Five are left on the 2026 calendar, and they all land between late September and the middle of October.

They are a varied bunch. One runs online and is built entirely around pediatrics. One is for your staff rather than for you. Two are aimed at physicians thinking about making the leap, and the last belongs to the concierge and membership world. Here is what each one covers, where it is, and when.

Pediatric DPC Virtual Summit

September 24–25, 2026 · Online, 10am to 2pm Eastern

Ten live sessions over two mornings, run by DPC Pediatrician. The useful thing here is that you can pick your day rather than clearing your whole week.

Thursday is for pediatricians who are still curious, or in the thick of launching. There is a marketing workshop, a session on pediatric DPC myths and reality checks, and a panel of people already running practices. Financial fundamentals and a look at the software you genuinely need round out the day.

Friday shifts to practices that are growing or already full. Sessions will cover building a reputation in your community, boundaries and burnout, hiring and handing work off, and where AI actually helps. Everything runs live, so bring questions.

DPC Frontline Bootcamp

September 25–26, 2026 · DoubleTree by Hilton, Fort Myers, Florida

This one is for your team, not for you. The Direct Primary Care Alliance built it for the administrators and front desk staff who keep a clinic running, under the theme "Running a High Functioning DPC Clinic (Not Just Surviving One)."

Day one looks at the human side of the job: talking to patients, onboarding them properly, following up, and managing a small team. Day two gets into operations, covering in-office pharmacy, triage, preventive care tracking, and working with virtual staff. Clinical skills labs run alongside both days.

Illinois DPC Summit

October 2–3, 2026 · NIU Naperville Meeting & Conference Center, Naperville, Illinois

Two days for Illinois DPC physicians, hosted by Cara Direct Care and produced by My DPC Story.

The program works through eight topics, and it starts where most Illinois physicians get stuck: what is actually legal in the state, and how to set the business up. From there it turns to landing your first members, contracting with local employers, and the money side of running your own practice. Later sessions get specific. Expect real cash rates, an honest look at which lab and dispensing vendors people are actually using, how to sort out call coverage, telehealth and hybrid setups, and where Illinois DPC law is heading. You will leave with an Illinois startup guide.

DPC Masterminds: Establishing Your Practice 101

October 8–9, 2026 · Drury Inn & Suites, Frisco, Texas

A small workshop from the Direct Primary Care Alliance, aimed at physicians and residents who are either weighing direct primary care or in the early stages of opening a practice. Sessions cover membership pricing, financial planning, marketing, technology, hiring, and employer partnerships. You will also get inside a few working practices nearby, which is hard to replicate from a slide deck. CME credit is available.

Concierge Medicine Forum

October 15–17, 2026 · Forsyth Conference Center, Atlanta, Georgia

The concierge and membership world's annual get-together, and it tends to draw whole teams rather than just physicians. Nurses, PAs, practice administrators, and care staff all turn up.

The agenda covers membership medicine basics, practice marketing and patient experience, longevity and preventive care, and AI in the clinical workflow. It also spends real time on practice valuation, succession planning, and consolidation, which you will not find on many other agendas.

• FMMA Annual Conference · February 3–5, Omni Oklahoma City. Brings employers and benefits staff in alongside physicians, with direct contracting as the through line.
• Hint Summit · April 7–10, Scottsdale, Arizona. Run by Hint Health and leans toward technology and employer relationships.

• DPC Summit · July 15–18, Kansas City, Missouri. The big one, co-hosted by ACOFP, AAFP, the DPC Alliance, and the Family Medicine Education Consortium. Beginner through advanced tracks, with CME credit.
