Growing Your Panel Through Employer Partnerships: Webinar Recap

Growing Your Panel Through Employer Partnerships Webinar

On June 16, 2026, Health Compiler partnered with DPC Alliance to host a webinar on one of the most practical growth channels available to direct care practices: employer partnerships.

The session was led by Mehul Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Health Compiler, and built around a straightforward premise: Whether a practice has zero employer contracts or several, the fundamentals of finding employers, running enrollment, proving value, and earning renewals follow the same logic. The difference is in where you start.

What the Session Covered

The webinar was structured as an interactive working session, not a lecture. Attendees worked through a set of questions to build their own playbook based on their panel size, capacity, target employer type, and timeline.

From there, the session moved through three core areas:

1. Outreach & Preparation

For practices just getting started, the focus was on the highest-conversion outreach channels: existing patients who own businesses, local Chambers of Commerce, and warm introductions through accountants, attorneys, and financial advisors. For practices already working with employers, the conversation shifted to working with brokers and benefits advisors, speaking in terms of cost savings and fiduciary responsibility, and using existing outcomes as proof of value.

The session also walked through a real employer pitch presentation, complete with ROI data, cost avoidance numbers, and utilization models, giving attendees a concrete look at what preparation for an employer meeting can look like.

2. Post-Enrollment Engagement

On the post-enrollment side, the discussion centered on four questions every practice should ask themselves monthly:

  • How many enrolled members have visited?
  • What can be done to increase engagement?
  • Does the data exist to show value?
  • Can the practice speak the employer's language?

3. Renewals & Outcomes

The renewal section reinforced a single point: have the data. Cost saved, engagement and utilization, and outcomes improved are the three categories that matter when the contract is up for review.

Resources from the Session

Three resources were shared during the session and are now available to everyone:

  • An employer pitch deck (a real presentation a practice used to pitch to a new employer, complete with ROI data, cost avoidance numbers, and utilization models).
  • A playbook covering the full employer partnership lifecycle.
  • A sample employer partnership contract as a starting point.
